In the overall Prosperity Index rankings, Paraguay has climbed by 4 positions from 73 to 69 when compared to last year. Since the Prosperity Index began in 2006, Paraguay has moved up the rankings table by 12 places.
In the Prosperity Pillar rankings, Paraguay performs best on Health and Personal Freedom and scores lowest on the Governance pillar. The biggest positive change, compared to last year, came in Education increasing by 9 places, whereas they dropped 16 places on Social Capital.
