Senegal is 106th in the overall Prosperity Index rankings. Since the Prosperity Index began in 2007, Senegal has moved up the rankings table by 10 places.
In the Prosperity Pillar rankings, Senegal performs best on Governance and Personal Freedom and scores lowest on the Education pillar. The biggest positive change, compared to last year, came in Economic Quality increasing by 6 places, whereas they dropped 35 places on Social Capital.
