Togo is 123rd in the overall Prosperity Index rankings. Since the Prosperity Index began in 2007, Togo has moved up the rankings table by 15 places.
In the Prosperity Pillar rankings, Togo performs best on Personal Freedom and Natural Environment and scores lowest on the Social Capital pillar. The biggest positive change, compared to last year, came in Economic Quality increasing by 11 places, whereas they dropped 8 places on Natural Environment.
