Trinidad and Tobago is 48th in the overall Prosperity Index rankings. Since the Prosperity Index began in 2007, Trinidad and Tobago has moved down the rankings table by 3 places.
In the Prosperity Pillar rankings, Trinidad and Tobago performs best on Social Capital and Natural Environment and scores lowest on the Safety & Security pillar. The biggest positive change, compared to last year, came in Health increasing by 2 places, whereas they dropped 14 places on Social Capital.
