Marcus Pont is a British entrepreneur and the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Domin, a deep technology company operating at the intersection of advanced manufacturing, software and motion control systems.
He founded Domin in 2012 with a focus on applying metal additive manufacturing to electrified hydraulic systems. Domin serves customers in the automotive, industrial and defence sectors, and has established a differentiated position in global motion control markets through its proprietary approach to hardware–software integration and scalable manufacturing.
Marcus has built the business on the principle that sustainable competitive advantage in manufacturing is inseparable from organisational culture. He has defined a clear
operating philosophy for the company and prioritised the development of internal leadership capability as a core driver of long-term performance.
Beyond his business commitments, Marcus served for six years as a magistrate and was a member of the University of Bath Industrial Advisory Board for five years. He is an advocate for the role of advanced technology in addressing complex, real-world challenges, and believes that successful businesses lead to thriving societies.
