Prior to working at the institute James worked in finance, first as a project accountant within the defence industry and then as a fund analyst within an investment firm.
Being a proud Ulsterman, James has a special interest in the injustice of the Windsor Framework and other issues related to the union and the sovereignty of British law.
Since joining the Prosperity Institute James has written widely. He has mainstreamed criticism on topics including ESG in Britain, and has launched a campaign to tackle the scourge of debanking.
Outside of work, James is actively involved in his local church, has a keen interest in British history, and enjoys long walks in the countryside.
