Rhys is Editorial and Research Director at the Prosperity Institute, where he oversees the Institute’s pipeline of publications and supports the research team in their research and writing.
Rhys previously served at The Davenant Institute from 2020 to 2025. There he worked as Senior Editor of the journal Ad Fontes and its political wing Commonwealth, as Managing Editor of the Davenant Press, and as Marketing and Communications Director of the whole Institute. At Davenant, his editorial work included church history and theology, with a focus on political and ethical theology. He is the editor of Life on the Silent Planet: Essays on Christian Living from C.S. Lewis’s Ransom Trilogy, co-editor of Reforming Classical Education: Toward a New Paradigm, and Augustine: Advent Homilies. He is also the editor of the Studies in Protestant Irenic series from Davenant Press.
He has written on numerous topics related to culture, politics, family, and faith for publications including The Spectator, The Critic, First Things, and Mere Orthodoxy. He is also a published poet.
He is currently completing an M.Litt in Classical Protestantism with Davenant Hall, where he is working on a dissertation on C.S. Lewis and political theology.
Outside of work, he spends his time tending his vegetable patch, painting Warhammer, and supporting his wife in home educating their three children.
